Last Chuckwagon at Wildlife West
Don’t miss the last Chuckwagon BBQ and Western Music show of the season with the popular Watermelon Jug Band this Saturday night, September 3rd at Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood. The show starts at 6 p.m. with an incredible free-flight Peregrine Falcon demonstration presented by world-renowned falconer Tom Smylie. Then dinner at 7 p.m. followed by the Watermelon Jug Band foot stopping performance in the all-weather amphitheater.
Come early to walk around the wildlife zoo and see the newest arrivals – two 11-month old cougars and three 6-month old coyotes also known as prairie wolves. Kids will love the new Children’s Imagination Trail.
Dinner shows are $25/adults, $23/seniors, $12/child 5-11, and kids 4 and younger are free. Reservations are required by 2 p.m. on the day of the show. Call Wildlife West for reservations at 505-281-7655 or for more information www.wildlifewest.org. The Chuckwagon shows help to support the nonprofit native wildlife zoo, which is managed through volunteer support.
